As the quiet and steady member of the Rov’s family, Mathew (Szok) is one of the most reliable people you will meet, making him an indispensable asset to the team.
Szok is a highly-skilled labourer, with a thorough knowledge of the industry and a commitment to the values of Rov’s Rubbish Removal.
Szok is always doing the work behind the scenes: Worplace Safety Compliance, job planning and reporting.
Even after a hard day of manual labour, Szok will get home and work through all of the administrative tasks thoroughly and accurately, an absolute imperative when juggling multiple work sites.
Szok has spent the last year learning to operate a bobcat and becoming skilled at operating the bobcat to load trucks on building sites.
One thing everyone needs to know is that even though we would classify Szok as the most reliable person in our team, snakes are an absolute deal breaker for him. The summer months are always risky, and we’d be lying if we said he hadn’t walked off a job or two in his time, haha!
A positive approach
Always going above and beyond, Szok used his background in panel beating to paint the Rov’s trucks on quieter days, keeping them looking fresh and professional.
Szok is known for his pleasant demeanour and positive outlook, which show in his approach to his role and the relationships he forms with our clients.
“I really love working with the great team at Rov’s,” Szok says.
“The banter onsite is always good and it’s good to be outside and travelling to different sites throughout Sydney.”
Simple pleasures
While our ever-growing business keeps Szok busy and active, he likes to enjoy the simple pleasures in his down time.
“In my spare time, I really like to chill out or go fishing,” he says.
“And, of course, I spend as much time with my family and children as I can.”
