Chris Tutill, Truck Driver/Labourer
A solid foundation
Chris brings a wide range of experience to the Rov’s Rubbish Removal (RRR) team. His apprenticeship as a cabinet maker and joiner has given him a solid foundation in trade-based skills.
He has also gained experience in fibreglassing, scaffolding, gyprocking and other building trades, which has been enormously helpful when dealing with our building clients.
He knows his way around any job site and his experience in building and demolishing always comes in particularly handy, whether it’s a commercial or residential job.
After enlisting in the ADF (RAAC) as an ASLAV crew member, Chris returned to the construction industry and was quickly promoted to project management. He is very proud to have served his country, as we are of him.
Chris took on his new venture into the waste management industry so that he could be part of building the family business, with his sisters, director Hayley, and colleague, Becky.
His loyalty to his family, and his dedication and passion to be part of this business, have been a huge asset to the RRR team.
A true tradesman
As Chris’s work experience shows, he loves working with his hands and using plant equipment and machinery, having recently become heavy rigid licenced.
Always motivated and willing to learn, Chris is always upskilling and is in training to become an operator. It is this drive to learn that makes him love being on site and interacting with people of other trades on a daily basis.
His drive and incredible work ethic have been great assets to the team at Rov’s Rubbish Removal.
The class clown
As the RRR class clown, Chris is forever dancing and singing shamelessly, making everyone laugh, even when they don’t feel like it.
Even if it is the worst job in the worst conditions, Chris will find a way to make it fun (and funny). This uplifting energy is such an asset to the RRR team; it not only boosts morale, but makes the whole team keen to get in and do our best work on a job site.
Much like his sister Becky, Chris likes whipping up a feast for his family and friends.
“I really love to cook, especially when it’s summer time and I can get the barbecue going,” Chris says.
“And if I’m not at the barbecue at the weekend, I’m probably outside riding my motorbike.”
